Mid-life-crisis hobby

Ag's Fantasy World

The beginning, last year 2011 my first attempt to create planted tank but,
because lack of knowledge and budget so all my flora and fauna died when i was away to Africa.

Now time to set new one ( 2nd attempt)
2 months planning for this time
 Do survey
 Do research
 Do study
Do all basic thing i need to know

First thing first the tank/aquarium itself
60x30x35cm (fully custom made at Glass Shop)
 Eheim 2213 (filter)
 Aquazonic 60cm 24w x 2 10000k (lighting)
 4kg co2 tank + Dici solenoid regulator (co2 system)
 Amazonia Powder 3kg
Amazonia Normal 9L (used from 1st attempt)
 Dragon/Ohko Stone 5kg

After bought all of this i try to setup my stone formation (http://theaquaticgazette.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/introduction_01.jpg).

I planned to hanging my lighting so easy for me to do trimming and water change in future.
 So what i do?
DIY hanging lighting and  it's take me for 1 month do a research,
find a shop/hardware/factory for bending conduit. Malaysia lack of this technology? I just looking for this      thing for a month (http://www.licensedelectrician.com/Store/ID/Images/Benders.jpg)
Cannot find solution so i start finding another way, go to hardware asking for tubing can be bend.
Still hard to find and got one suggestion from hardware guy use curtain track. Got one curtain track can be  bend by using your hand.  So found the solution and awesome it can be done. I used my gate to bend the curtain track and the result 100% nice.

DIY lighting system done, next setup my aquarium
Still lack of experience i just planted all plants randomly.
Filled in the water, run the filter and co2.
All working great and Ehiem 2213 working quitely so nice!

 +/- 1/32 tsp KH2P04 (P) 3x a week
 +/- 1/32 tsp (2ml) Trace Elements 3x a week
